A Universal Year Number is a number from 1 to 9 that describes the collective theme of a calendar year, the same for everyone. You find it by adding the digits of the year and reducing to a single digit. It places each year in a nine-year cycle.
How do I calculate the Universal Year Number?
Add the four digits of the year, then reduce. For example, 2028 gives 2 + 0 + 2 + 8 = 12, then 1 + 2 = 3, so 2028 is a Universal Year 3. If the sum is 11, 22 or 33 before you reduce, some numerologists keep it as a Master Number; 2027 adds to 11, so it is read as an 11/2 year.
What is the difference between the Universal Year and the Personal Year?
The Universal Year is the same for everyone and describes the climate of the year. The Personal Year is calculated from your own birth day and birth month and describes your own cycle inside that climate.
