Your next 12 months

Your Yearly Cycle

Enter your birth date to see your personal month number for each of the next 12 months, with what each one means for your money, work and mindset.

Your Wealth Path Number shows where money moves easiest for you over a lifetime. Your Personal Year Number shows what the current year is best used for. It places you in a nine-year cycle, and each position has its own job: some years are for starting, some for building, some for harvesting, and some for letting go.

Knowing the job of the year saves a lot of frustration. Trying to launch in a 9 or to harvest in a 2 feels like pushing against the current. Using each year for its own purpose feels like moving with it.

How to calculate it

Add the digits of your birth day, your birth month and the calendar year, then reduce to a single digit. Personal Years are always 1 to 9: there are no Master Numbers in this calculation.

Example. Born on 3 March, in 2027: 3 + 3 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 17, then 1 + 7 = 8. A Personal Year 8.

The nine years

The cycle repeats: after a 9 you begin again at 1.

The Universal Year

Every calendar year also has its own number, the same for everyone. It describes the collective climate your Personal Year happens in. Read what the coming years mean in the Universal Year guide.

Questions

What is a Personal Year Number?

A Personal Year Number is a number from 1 to 9 that numerology assigns to each calendar year of your life. It marks where you are in a nine-year cycle, and each position has its own theme: starting, partnering, expressing, building, changing, caring, reflecting, harvesting and releasing.

How do I calculate my Personal Year Number?

Add the digits of your birth day, your birth month and the calendar year you want, then reduce the total to a single digit. For example, someone born on 3 March has, in 2027, 3 + 3 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 17, then 1 + 7 = 8, which is a Personal Year 8. The birth year is not used.

When does my Personal Year start?

Different numerologists use different starting points. Here we use the calendar year, so your Personal Year changes on 1 January. Some use the birthday as the start. If you are close to your birthday, you can read both numbers and see which fits.

Which Personal Year is best for money?

The Personal Year 8 is the most money-oriented, associated with results, authority and reward. But every year has a financial purpose: a 1 starts, a 4 builds, a 7 reviews and a 9 clears. Using each year for its own job usually works better than waiting for an 8.

Does a Personal Year predict what will happen?

No. It is a framework for reflection, not a forecast. It offers a way to think about what the year might be best used for. Do not base financial decisions on it.
